Project Spotlight: Statuario Statement Bathroom

A passion project spread over the years, Nemo Tile is honored to be part of this homes’ modern transformation! This week we’re taking a look inside their marble master bath, kids’ bathroom,  and stunning fireplace.

For the master bathroom Nemo Tile’s Think Thin 1.2 in Statuario Venato transforms this space. Applied floor to ceiling, extending from the shower surround to the rest of the space this marble features a luminous white background with distinctive, fluid-grey random veining. Our Think Thin 1.2 collection is composed of natural stone panels cut at a ground-breakingly delicate ½-inch thickness, making the products lighter weight and less expensive than traditional stone slabs.

For the kids’ bathroom Nemo Tile’s Tread in Scrape was chosen. Extending from the focal wall behind the vanity to the bathroom floor, Tread perfectly mimics the textured look of poured concrete in a durable porcelain format. The Scrape planks contain a multitude of textures and hue variations for added interest while the large format planks create movement and the appearance of a larger space.

For a clean and classic look, Nemo Tile’s Metro Wall Tile was selected for the adjoining walls. This classic ceramic tile is perfect for many applications. The larger 4×12 subway format installed in a stacked bond pattern creates the look of a larger space by drawing the eyes up and the crisp white subway tile brightens up this beautiful bathroom.

For the fireplace Nemo Tile’s 4×24 Lavagna Stone tile in color ‘Alaska’ was used. This unique natural stone features a multitude of natural color variations and textures, perfect for adding dimension and pairing with a wide variety of color schemes. The combination of natural textures extends fully up the wall, creating a beautiful focal point.
