For a neutral bathroom with a twist, the homeowners of this Lavalette New Jersey beach home chose our unique fabric patterned tile, Raffia.
Fashion and interior design merge in Nemo Tile’s Raffia, boasting the first fabric effect made on an advanced porcelain surface with three-dimensional texture. Through the digital printing and layering of different patterns and lines, Raffia is a tribute to the pixel art of the 80s, with its chromatic movement and alternating visual sequences that mimic textiles.
The bathroom floor and shower walls are Nemo Tile’s Raffia 12×24 in the color Ecru, a soft beige perfect for the overall beachy color palette of this home. Installed in a classic running bond pattern, these larger format tiles give the space a larger feel.
To add interest and a bit of color to the showerpan and niche, the coordinating Raffia 2×2 mosaic mix was chosen. The mix of denim blue, black, white, ecru and gray enable a wide variety of design options for this space while he unique fabric pattern adds movement and interest! To complete the look, Raffia 4×24 Battiscopa trim finishes the edges of the shower and niche and beautiful white wainscotting walls seen throughout this home.
Creating a seamless look by flowing design elements from one room seamlessly to the next, this Lavalette Beach home perfectly incorporates gorgeous natural materials for a serene look.
Flowing from the main entrance to the bathroom, Nemo Tile’s Tread in 12×24 Pacific brings the aesthetic of cement into the space by perfectly mimicking the textured look of poured concrete in a durable porcelain format. Available in a large selection of sizes, colors and designs, Tread captures the same industrial essence of cement with its gritty characteristics making it ideal for residential or commercial projects. These larger format tiles installed in a running bond pattern give the space a larger feel.
The shower walls were done in Ara ceramic in color ‘naturale’ white with a gloss finish in 2×20. A wonderful contrast to the poured concrete look of Tread, this white Ara tile adds a finishing touch to the space.
For the shower floor and wall niche, Nemo Tile’s Pebble mosaic in Java Grey was chosen. This natural stone mosaic adds a nature inspired spa-like feel to any shower. Coordinating the grout color with the bathroom floor tile creates a seamless design flow. The bathroom is rounded out with coordinating Ara Bullnose tiles and beautiful white wainscotting walls.

The Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission is to bring outstanding care to all women regardless of their financial status. Partnering with Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey, they brought the Connie Dwyer Breast Center to the greater Elizabeth community. With the most up-to-date equipment and services available, the Connie Dwyer Breast Center is staffed with board-certified bilingual specialists who are dedicated to provide the very best in breast health care, from screening, to diagnosis and, if necessary, to treatment.
The intention of Joann Eltringham, owner of Studio E Interiors, was to create a hospitality environment for patients receiving long term care for breast cancer and diagnostic care. To assist in maintaining positive mental stability for both patients and staff, the designer chose finishes that may normally be found in high-end hotels and restaurants. These commercial finishes are extremely durable yet achieve spaces that may create more spa-like experiences promoting wellness.
The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness and the color pink expresses moral support for women with breast cancer. For the accent walls throughout the center, a custom mix glass Bisazza pink mosaic sourced by Nemo Tile was used. The combination of different hues of soft pinks, iridescent tiles, and soft white with pulled copper and rose gold accents create a space of elegance and tranquility.
To continue with the high-end hospitality feel, Nemo Tile sourced Bisazza’s White Frozen Garden tile was selected as an accent wall. Designed by Marcel Wanders, this hexagonal shape tile contains 6 defined convex 3-dimensional triangles and coordinating 3-dimensional flower deco creates a gorgeous focal wall in the center’s bathroom. The almost pearlescent white glaze plays beautifully with the light and creates a brighter space.
For the floor Oxy 12×24 large format tiles in Royal White was used. Oxy is a unique porcelain tile that mimics painted sheet metal and the effects of oxidation on real metal. The Royal White color chosen for this space creates the perfect serene, spa-feel.
