*Flashback* NTCA Tile & Stone Workshop with Nemo Tile + Stone

Back in March, Nemo Tile held their first NTCA workshop at our Red Bank, NJ location, with the National Tile Contractor’s Association, a nonprofit trade association dedicated to the professional installation of ceramic tile and natural stone. It is widely recognized as the largest and most respected tile contractors association in the world. As an American association, they have members that range from tile contractors, tile manufacturers, distributors, tile dealerships and stores. Every year the NTCA creates a tour schedule throughout the 48 continental United States taking applicants a year in advance to be chosen as a part of their 1 year tour. Nemo Tile + Stone was selected to be a part of the 2018 schedule.  Our focus was to help attract as many contractors, builders, architects and designers to join us for a day of education, training and updates on the National Tile Council of America’s newest standards for 2018. We had several sponsors to help make this daylong event possible. Bostik was our main sponsor showcasing the event along with Schluter Systems and Laticrete.  Alpha Tools also participated as a part of our vendor showcase to all clients to learn in between seminars.  Overall, it was a day that provided 4 AIA/ IDCEC CEU credits to those who attended from 8AM-4PM in our Red Bank, New Jersey Showroom.   Overall, we had a very positive response and constant flow of traffic attending our four seminars provided by Laticrete, Schluter Systems, Bositk and guest speaker, Mark Heinlein, (CTI) Certified Tile Installer, trainer and educator from the NTCA. Mark showcases 17 years as an industry professional teaching us both through seminar and a hands on workshop. We look forward to future workshops with Mark in both NJ & NY locations.
