Rumson Home Build Update: Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County

NEMO Tile + Stone Red Bank is excited to partner with Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County for their latest home build in Rumson, NJ. Dedicated to safe and affordable homes through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving living spaces, Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County advocates for fair and just housing policies and provides training and access to resources that help families improve their living conditions. The property that is being worked on is a full-of-potential two-story cottage style home. Already full of heart, it’s the perfect house to fix up and transform into a happy home for a well-deserving family.   NEMO Tile + Stone Red Bank has happily donated all of the tile for the new kitchen backsplash and the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen tile is a classic subway tile look in grey which will complement the white cabinetry, while the upstairs full bath will be timeless in design with beige colored tile and white fixtures. NEMO Tile has hosted multiple DIY workshops at their Red Bank showroom and has had the pleasure of teaching many of the outstanding women volunteers from Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Warriors program in preparation for this Rumson house project. At each DIY workshop, the Women Build Warriors rolled up their sleeves, got their hands dirty and learned how to grout and set tile straight from the pros at NEMO Tile Red Bank. The skills that these Warriors learned will be put to good use at the Rumson home build for a special Women Build Warrior Day under the expert supervision and guidance of NEMO Tile Red Bank’s Showroom Manager, Keith DiFortuna. NEMO Tile + Stone is ecstatic about seeing their tile go to such a worthy cause and installed by some of its wonderful workshop graduates.   Be on the lookout for our progress with before and after photos we will be posting soon of this awesome endeavor.
