Project Spotlight: An Edgy Girl’s Bathroom
Designing this bathroom with their daughter in mind, the homeowners of this Allenhurst beach house chose an out-of-the-box design that was that was both stylish and sophisticated. They worked with the
Salt Design Co. team to select the edgy Origami Hexagon
Lavagna stone tile in color ‘alaska’ for the walls. A gold
Schluter Strip finishes the design along with gold fixtures that bring in a sophisticated look while warming up the tile and the overall space.

The same Lavagna ‘alaska’ stone was used on the floor but in a larger 12x24 tile format in a natural cleft and brushed easy finish.

Glass shower enclosure with no pull keeps the space open with a focus on the gorgeous hexagon pattern and the full-length horizontal inset shower ledge. The shower floor received the Lavagna ‘alaska’ in a 3x3 pattern as well, to flow seamlessly with the rest of the bath.
