Project Spotlight: Bunk Bath & Guest Bathroom

Predominately used by kids, the Salt Design Co. team wanted to go a bit more obvious with the nautical theme in this kid’s guest bath, also referred to as the “bunk bathroom,” being that it is off of the guest room that has bunk beds. They kept the design very clean but got to have fun playing with marine inspired sconces and the rivet detail on the mirror. For the second guest bath, designed for guests (of any age), the designers wanted to make sure that it was the most versatile bathroom.  As a result, a tub was factored into the design should the guest want to take a luxurious bubble bath. Glossy White Glazed Pennyround Mosaic ceramic tiles with white grout were used in both bathrooms. The round shape of this tile is different than the other bathroom designs and makes for a playful design that is a nice, easy option for cleaning. The Penny Round is a classic and understated design, but one which gives your room a bold and graphic impact.
