Opened in 2017, Gold Roast Cafe in Hoboken, New Jersey is an Australian cafe serving up specialty Aussie coffee, fresh foods and desserts. When it came to designing their space, they wanted to keep the open and industrial feel of a classic Australian coffee shop. After visiting our Flat Iron showroom, Nemo’s Opus Cliff in 16x32 format was chosen for the floor of Gold Roast. The oversized porcelain tiles capture the perfect industrial feel. The gaze variation of Opus adds more interest than a uniform tile and is great for high traffic zones like a busy cafe.
