Project Spotlight: Modern Country, Hint of Coastal

The homeowners of this ground-up, brand new home wanted to create a calming, neutral environment for all to enjoy while also infusing a unique personality into each room. No small feat, with the help of Nemo Tile, Maria Zoe Designs made that vision into a gorgeous reality!

Nemo Tile Build Effect Ivory Porcelain Tile

For this first bathroom Nemo Tile’s Build Effect in Ivory was chosen. Applied on half the walls and in the entire shower surround, this unique porcelain tile has an alternating concave and convex linear texture that creates the illusion of subtle movement. The glazing also features a variance of ivory shades to add depth and expands design pairing possibilities. Natural light plays beautifully on the texture of this tile. Finishing off the edges is a simple Schluter trim.

Nemo Tile’s Preeminent Porcelain was chosen for the bathroom floor. Preeminent Porcelain is a flawless interpretation of the world’s most premium statuary marble. Both classic and contemporary, Preeminent embodies an elevated level of elegance and sophistication.

With the incredible look of real marble and the resilience and hard-wearing nature of porcelain, Preeminent is the perfect alternative to marble.

Nemo Tile White Moon Craquelle Wall

Paired with an amazing gold floral wallpaper from Anthropologie, Nemo Tile’s Towne in White Moon Craquelle was chosen for the walls of this powder room.

This gorgeous subway tile features a distinct soft white crackle glaze, giving it an added dimension and antique look while the standard subway layout gives the space a classic feel.

Maria chose this tile because it’s ”versatile, but so much more interesting and elegant than a simple subway tile”
