The homeowners of this mid-century modern influenced ranch home by the water were looking to create a light and airy California feeling in their Oceanport, New Jersey home. With the help of Nemo Tile, designer Maria Zoe made that vision into a gorgeous reality!
This bathroom features Nemo’s Towne 2.5×10 in Aqua Crackle for the walls and shower surround. This gorgeous subway tile features a distinct soft blue crackle glaze, giving it an added dimension and antique look while the standard subway layout gives the space a classic feel. Installed in a vertical stacked bond pattern draws the eye up and creates the feeling of a larger space.
In an interesting twist, Nemo Tile’s Towne 2.5 x 10 in White Crackle runs horizontally around the room along the bottom, middle, and top of the walls creating a border. The different movements and directions keep you moving and elongates the room!
For the bathroom and shower floor Nemo Tile’s Tempo Rock in Thassos Couplet was chosen. This gorgeous marble mosaic is an interesting blend of multi-thickness pieces combined in a chevron shape. By pairing the classic subway format with this intriguing marble mosaic, this bathroom is not only has a timeless taste but a gorgeous array of interesting patterns.
Stay tuned for next week’s Project Spotlight where we will take a closer look at other spaces in this beautiful home!
