Stetter Residence Kitchen “Industrial Farmhouse Kitchen Redesign”

Following a recent Master Bath renovation with the help of NEMO Tile + Stone Red Bank, Tracy and Kevin Stetter chose to tackle the kitchen of their Oceanport home as their next big project.  Kevin is the Executive Vice President, Business and Operations at PureWow and Tracy is a preschool teacher and with two young children, they knew that they wanted a space to bring the family together but also looked gorgeous when they entertained. The kitchen design first started with the placement of their stainless steel appliances, specifically the refrigerator and the wine fridge. Next was an oversized kitchen island that was designed to enhance the way their family gathers and entertains, all while showing off their personal style in what would be the heart of their home. The homeowner opted for a black framed window as the backdrop of the kitchen sink, giving the space an industrial, but warm look that she further softened with accents of rich-brown wood shelving and beams. The kitchen backsplash was done in NEMO’s 4x16 Metro White Gloss Subway Tile with a dark grout to match the kitchen trim and to not interfere with the other textures in the kitchen.  Metro Wall Tile is NEMO’s classic ceramic tile and is available in a multitude of contemporary sizes and colors. The white tile and dark grout combination in the Stetter’s kitchen perfectly brings together the all-white cabinetry against the “rugged concrete” Caesarstone waterfall-edged countertops. The open shelving also allows the tile to shine and be a part of the entire overall design. The end result is a clean looking kitchen with an industrial farmhouse design.
