Women Build Warriors Workshop with Habitat for Humanity

Last month Nemo Red Bank teamed up with Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County and hosted their Women Build Warriors’ December (holiday social) meeting. The Women Build Warriors are a dynamic group of outstanding women volunteers, dedicated to building homes, community and hope in Monmouth County. Nemo announced it would be hosting a series of workshop brunch's designed exclusively for the Women Build Warriors group where they could get their hands dirty and learn to lay tile for their upcoming home builds in the Monmouth County area that they will be working on. On Saturday, January 13, 2018, we hosted a booked out workshop in our Red Bank showroom specially designed for the group. The workshop was a hands-on learning experience for the women volunteers of all levels, allowing them to roll up their sleeves and learn the skills of grouting and setting tile. Nemo had built a “bathroom” exclusively for this workshop, where the women experienced tiling actual walls. The event was a great success, so much so the February event is already at capacity (with a waitlist).
